The longer I live in this world, the more I realize that the true art of living is in balance.
Balance between the wild and the human, the solid wood and the thin air, the grounf and the sky. The pod is a free space, framing and framed by Nature. Its structure is simple, made of two beams that lay on a single vertical column. It resembles the forest tree, primal hut and shelter of the human being, prehistoric home. Aligned with gravity, distributing its weight to reach an equilibrium on the cliff. Light in its attachment to the soil, it stands on the sloped forested valley. Ethereal solid, tense and calm, blurring boundaries between openness and enclosure, interior and exterior. The forest ground is liberated, opened to the life and motion of all living beings in the wildness of nature. All human activities are possible above, all the living elements can fly higher, run below, grow all around.
